Research Assistant Positions Available
The Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw invites applications for Research Assistant positions under the supervision of Prof. Mikołaj Czajkowski. Selected candidates will contribute to research projects in Environmental Economics, Health Economics, Behavioral Economics, and Econometrics.
Compensation: A monthly scholarship of 2,500–4,000 PLN, depending on experience and academic level, with flexible working hours. The initial appointment is for 3 months, with the possibility of extension following a performance review.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong interest in scientific research.

Programming, data science, or quantitative analysis skills.

Preferred qualifications (not required):

Experience in academic research.

Proficiency in writing and editing academic texts in English.

Experience with econometric modelling.

Familiarity with Matlab or other statistical software.

Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.

Interest in valuation methods, consumer behaviour, and preference and choice modelling.

A background in economics, social sciences, mathematics, computer science, or a related field is advantageous.
Responsibilities

Conduct literature reviews.

Analyse data.

Develop research-related software and scripts.

Draft and edit academic publications.

Assist in the design of research studies.
